Charles E. Harris
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Charlie Harris serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Intellon. He has been an investor and director of the company since 1994, moving into management as Chairman and President in 2001 and Chief Executive Officer in 2002. He has over 30 years of experience in management, investment banking and legal roles focused on positioning companies to achieve growth and shareholder value. Before joining Intellon, he served as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Starwood Vacation Ownership, Inc, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mid-State Federal Savings Bank and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Sun Banks, Inc. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Synagen Capital Partners, Inc and Allen C. Ewing & Co., an investment banking firm His earlier law practice centered around securities, mergers and acquisitions and technology matters. He also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Law. Harris earned his B.A. from the University of Florida and J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Rick E. Furtney
President and Chief Operating Officer
Rick Furtney joined Intellon as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2006. With over 23 years of industry experience, Furtney has a record of driving customer-focused market strategy and rapid, profitable growth at leading semiconductor companies. Prior to joining Intellon, he was Vice President of the aerospace and defense division of International Rectifier and Vice President and General Manager of analog products at Intersil Corporation. He was also General Manager of Intersil’s manufacturing operations. He began his career as an Engineering Manager for Harris Corporation, moving into marketing and then Vice President of power management products. Furtney holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a M.B.A. in Management from Florida Institute of Technology.
Brian T. McGee
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Brian T. McGee joined Intellon as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2007. With over 20 years in business and financial management, Brian was most recently Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Lexar Media, Inc. Before joining Lexar, he held positions as Vice President, Finance and/or Chief Financial Officer of several other technology companies, including Equator Technologies, Inc., SmartAge.com and Academic Systems Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held other senior financial positions with Raychem Corporation. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. He also holds a Certificate in Management Accounting.
William E. Earnshaw
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Bill Earnshaw joined Intellon in 1994 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Engineering, managing all aspects of the company’s engineering development activities and serving as a key member of Intellon’s leadership team. He has over __ years of engineering management experience. Before joining Intellon, Earnshaw held served as Vice President of Engineering for Computer Products, Inc., manager of advanced systems at Modular Computer Systems, Inc., and data communications consultant at Siemens Information Systems. Earnshaw began his career as an electrical engineer at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Norfolk, Virginia. He earned his B.S. in electrical engineering technology and M.B.A. from Old Dominion University.
Andreas (Andy) H. Melder
Senior Vice President, Strategic Business Development
Andy Melder joined Intellon in 2004, and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development, focusing on strategic relationships and market development. He has more than 26 years of experience in the semiconductor, broadband and communications industries. He formerly served as Chief Operating Officer of Clarisay, Inc. and held senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and business development at Microtune, Inc., and Tripath Technology, Inc. Melder also held various marketing and business development positions at Cirrus Logic Inc., Pixel Semiconductor and Visual Information Technologies (VITec). He began his career as an electrical design engineer for Texas Instruments, Inc. Melder earned his BSEE/Business from Carnegie Mellon University and MSEE/Operations Research from Southern Methodist University.
William P. Casby
Vice President, Sales
Bill Casby has served as Vice President of Sales at Intellon since 2004. He ahs over 18 years of sales experience for leading technology companies. Prior to joining Intellon, Casby served as Vice President of Sales at Brecis Communications and GlobespanVirata. Earlier, he held various sales management positions with S3, Microsoft and LSI Logic. Casby earned his B.S.M.E. in Business from the University of California at Davis.
Larissa Cochron
Vice President and General Counsel
Larissa M. Cochron joined Intellon as Vice President and General Counsel in July 2007. Larissa was most recently Associate General Counsel of Lexar Media, Inc. Prior to joining Lexar, she was in private practice with the Silicon Valley law firm of Fenwick & West LLP and, before that, with the Atlanta law firm of King & Spalding LLP. She received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and earned both her M.A. and B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University.
Caroline T. Davis
Vice President and Controller
Caroline Davis joined Intellon in 1994 and serves as Vice President and Controller. Davis formerly served as Vice President and Controller of Mid-State Federal Savings Bank. Earlier, she was in public accounting with Duggan Joiner & Company. Davis is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her B.A. from the University of South Florida.
Cindy Drapcho
Vice President Operations
Cindy joined the Intellon team as the Vice President of Operations in July 2007. She has a diverse background with over 22 years of experience in semiconductor operations and technology, as well as 5 years in product line management and business development. Cindy was most recently Vice President of Desktop Power Management at Intersil Corporation where she was responsible for all aspects of the business unit. Prior to that, Cindy was Senior Manager of an internal wafer fabrication facility at Harris Semiconductor. Cindy also managed various engineering organizations responsible for all phases of technology development and wafer fab engineering. She earned her compressed MBA from the University of Florida and her BS Degree in Engineering Science from Pennsylvania State University.
Chris W. Henningsen
Vice President Marketing
Chris Henningsen joined Intellon in 2007 as Vice President of Marketing. With over 20 years of semiconductor industry management experience, Chris has a track record of growing high technology emerging market business and was instrumental to the rapid growth of the wireless local area network (IEEE802.11) semiconductor market. Prior to joining Intellon, he was Vice President of Sales for Primarion, Vice President of Marketing for Intersil and began his semiconductor career at Analog Devices. Henningsen earned his B.S. in Physics from the University of Vermont and M.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Columbia Pacific University.
Cameron D. McCaskill
Vice President, Business Development
Cameron McCaskill has been Vice President of Business Development at Intellon since June 2002, also managing sales from 2002 through 2004. He has more than 15 years of experience with entrepreneurial companies. Prior to joining Intellon, McCaskill was a technology commercialization and marketing consultant to Fuentek LLC. Earlier, he held various management positions at Plurimus Corporation, Calendar Central, Inc., Interpath Communications and TriNet Services. He was also President and a co-founder of BioControl, Inc. McCaskill earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
Keith Riley
Vice President, Engineering
Keith Riley joined Intellon in 2004 as Vice President, Engineering. He directs the company’s technical team in the design, development and delivery of powerline communications ICs. Riley formerly served as Vice President of Engineering for Cogency Semiconductor Inc., and Chief Technology Officer for LSI Logic of Canada. He was also selected to serve on the Board of Directors for Bluetooth technology developer Philsar Semiconductor. Riley earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and master's degree in Communications from the University of Toronto.
Larry W. Yonge III
Vice President, Research
Larry Yonge joined Intellon as Director of Technology Development in 1997 and was promoted to Vice President, Research in 2000. Prior to joining Intellon, he served as an engineering consultant managing product design and development projects for Samart Corporation. He was also President and a co-founder of Raydx Satellite System. Earlier, he was an RF Design Engineer for Microdyne Corporation. Yonge earned his B.S. in Engineering from LeTourneau University.
